Julie Orbach, Founder
Julie Orbach has 10 years of teaching experience, both as a classroom teacher and as a private academic coach. She holds the first B.A. in Education Studies from Columbia University and a Master's of Education from Harvard University, as well as teaching certification in Pre-K to sixth grade elementary education.
As President of Brain-Go and Brain-Grow, she teaches students from ages four to 24 with exceptional results. Julie enjoys creating engaging and rigorous critical thinking activities for her students, and is proud to bring you high-quality, kid-tested materials.

Elissa Shiau, Intern
A current student at Brain-Grow, Elissa spends her free time playing club volleyball and creating curriculum. Current projects include writing packets and SAT vocabulary. She currently attends Bronx Science and previously attended Fieldston.
