We know it's strange, but we LOVE tests.  Click Here to Read our Reviews....

If you are in need of test preparation, you have come to the right place.  Please feel free to browse our offerings below, and if you are interested you can give us a call at 646-319-9026.

The SAT

Picture
We offer an individualized SAT test prep program, chock-full of strategies, direct instruction, practice, and good old-fashioned academic enthusiasm.  The numbers don't lie.  Students improve their scores on average 250 points. Want to learn some SAT Vocabulary?  Of course you do!

The ACT

If you find taking the SAT a nauseating prospect, the ACT is a good alternative or additional option.  Less "tricky" and slightly shorter than its counterpart, the ACT requires practice and dedication to learning or re-learning academic material.  The test includes grammar, reading comprehension, math, science, and an essay.

The ISEE

Picture
Students take the ISEE test primarily if they want to move to a different private school.  The test includes five secions:  Verbal (Vocabulary), Reading Comprehension, Math Achievement, Quantitative Reasoning, and an essay. More information about this test and practice booklets can be found on www.erblearn.org, or by clicking HERE.

The ERB

Did you know that if your child is taking the "ERB" it's not really called the "ERB?"  This is just the name of the company that administers the test.  We've been doing "ERB" prep for over 10 years, which makes us one of the oldest organizations out there.  If you have a little one needing preparation, we can help them in a fun, friendly, no-pressure way with great results.  If you have an older one taking the "ERB" in school, we can help with that too.

The SHSAT

Picture
This is Julie's FAVORITE test.  Students get 2.5 hours to answer 95 questions in whichever order they want.  It's also a high-stakes test, as it is the only criterion for admission into one of New York City's specialized high schools.  Students learn so many higher level skills, including advanced math, logical reasoning, and sophisticated reading comprehension, that many choose to stay and start their SAT prep.

The OLSAT/BSRA

Picture
If you would like your child to be considered for Gifted and Talented programs in the NYC Public Schools, your child has to tackle this test.  It's a LONG paper and pencil test filled with all kinds of cognitive questions.  Good news: We make fun workbooks for the OLSAT!  We also have one-on-one tutoring to help your child master the skills needed to perform well on this assessment.
